Ludwig Wittgenstein (born in Vienna, Austro-Hungarian Empire, in 1889, and deceased in Cambridge, UK, in 1951) was an Austrian philosopher who contributed immensely to the fields of logic, mathematics and the philosophy of language. A doubt-ridden man, Wittgenstein began questioning the concept of truth as a child. In his free time, he designed his sister’s house in Vienna, leaving no detail to chance, including the door handles. These ones are asymmetrical – the right and left one can be different or not, depending on your preference. With each pair, I would love to offer you Wittgenstein’s most prominent work, “Tractatus logico philosophicus,” but that may not be realistic.
