Designed in 1968, this model has not aged a bit. Milanese design couple Franco Albini and Franca Helg have realised many buildings in Milan, museums and the San Babilla underground station, the main station of Milan. Its creators described this handle, which I will display as long as it is made, with these words: “we want a handle as light as a bird’s wing or a flower petal.” Ergonomic too, it is quintessential of Italian design.This model is realised in treated brass and guaranteed thirty years, even under difficult conditions, such as salty air, mountainous regions or simply outside houses.
