Installation and selection tips :

- Check thecenter-to-center distance of your mechanism: the measurement between the center of the handle hole and the center of the key hole should be 70mm.
- Pairs of door handles are designed for standard thickness doors (between 38mm and 40mm) with flush-mounted locks that accept 7mm square rods (French standard). A 7mm square is supplied.
- The screw center distance for fixing the plate is 195mm. The screws supplied are wood screws (non-through).
- Choose the finish to match your existing hardware (hinges, latches) to create visual consistency. The 4 wood screws will be supplied to match the plate.
- A varnished finish is preferable if the door is used a lot: it will resist wear and marks better.
- For a high-end look, opt for solid brass or an aged patina finish: these materials add character and depth.
- When installing, be sure to secure the plate to a stable support, to avoid any play in the handle or trim.
